Pitkin has published illustrated British souvenir guides since 1947, when its first title was a souvenir book for Princess Elizabeth's wedding. Royal subjects have been its speciality ever since.

These are the slim, heavily illustrated guides you pick up at a palace or cathedral gift shop - coronations, monarchs, castles and abbeys, written to be read in an afternoon. Good souvenirs, and good background reading before a trip.
